Windows will try to detect an internet connection when you start the activation process. There are two ways on how to activate Windows 7 online. First is by using a direct connection. You can open the Windows Activation window by clicking the Start button, then right click Computer, then click Properties, and finally click “Activate Windows now”. Call one of these phone numbers. The automated phone system will then guide you on how to activate Windows 7. Using your phone’s keypad, enter the installation ID when you’re asked to. The phone system will then give you a confirmation ID. Take note of the confirmation ID that the system gives you. Type the confirmation ID on the correct space provided in the activation screen then click on the Next button. Follow the instructions until you receive a notification if the activation was successful. If the activation failed, wait for a customer service representative that will assist you.
